Just as he promised in several interviews, Rapper Kwaw Kese spent the day of love in the Ashanti regional capital spreading love and giving back.
The “Odeim” Rapper started his day in Kumasi on Valentine’s Day sharing a message of hope, love and peace with mothers and children of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
The Kwaw Kese Foundation with support from Millicom Ghana Limited, operators of mobile telecommunication network Tigo, donated several items including toiletries (soap, shampoo and toothpaste) and other items to the children’s ward of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and also had a brief tour of the health facility.
The “King of the street” and his team then went to the Kumasi Central Prisons where he had a prodigious welcome as a former inmate of the prisons.
Kwaw Kese then presented several items including, mattresses, sachets of water, slippers, toothbrush, bags of sugar, bags of rice, and gallons of oil and mosquito repellants.
Kwaw Kese also put up a brief performance for the inmates to fulfil a promise he made to them when he was granted bail on December 30, 2014 after spending about five weeks inside the prison.
Meanwhile, Kwaw Kese who is still standing trial for allegedly smoking wee in public will appear before the KMA court on February 27.
