Kobby Simple is the singer behind the current song gaining lot of radio airplay titled: ‘Adiza’.

The single, which was released, recently has sparked a little genre confusion among pundits on radio and that has forced the singer to come out to explain a few things.

Kobby Simple who is signed under Highly Spiritual music led by award winning sound engineer Kaywa disclosed that his song is a contemporary Hi-life song and should be placed as such.

He said every thing about ‘Adiza’ makes it a contemporary hi-life song hence he does not see why some pundits are having genre confusion with the song.

Simple said: ‘I have being called a few times to position the song under a genre, which I think, should not be so hence for that matter I will be embarking on a radio project to try and let the people understand the song’.

For fans who have not heard Kobby Simple’s song- ‘Adiza’, it is the only song award winning rapper; Sarkodie did his verse in three different local dialects, that is, Twi, Ewe and Ga in which He sang.

I see Kobby Simple as the successor for Taadi born artist Castro (Oh our dear Castro, return to us soon) and yeah, he is also a fante singer.

Check out the song by Kobby Simple featuring BET award winner Sarkodie under Highly Spiritual Music.
