Am so sure, not everyone is cool with the twitter spat between these superstars. For the fact that they were on the same record label before Wizkid left and Skales followed suit, they had all of this going on and no one took the prerogative to bury the hatchet and let bygones be bygones?

With all said in their messy fight, they weren’t brothers as they claimed to be. It appears all is not going well with their relationship as Skales took to his twitter account to accuse Wizkid of stealing the Azonto beat.

Producer Legendury Beatz also took to his own twitter page to stand by Wizkid, debunking Skales’ claims as to the ownership of the beat to the hit song, saying Wiz paid for the beats, hence deserved to work on it. The producer said he created the beats himself and doesn’t know what Skales is talking about.

The twitter spat keeps getting bigger and bigger with more people hopping on the fight and spewing venom at each other. Wizkid also replied, and trust me, he let his heart out via his Twitter handle. See his epic replies and tweets below.Wizkid-Skales-Twitter-Spat-Wizkid-Skales-twitter-SpatAnd the spat gets messier…….

These boys are not smiling. Wizkid is resigning from twitter for a month while it appears skales doesn’t want t0 stop anytime soon.

Updated: Wizkid-Skales Twitter Spat, The Real Reason They Argued

Wizkid seems to attract this sort of squabbles as fast as a horse can trot. And this new year, it seems the drama is starting a bit too early. Although; in all fairness, Skales started today’s outburst online, we are certain something precipitated this even though we can’t say for now what exactly did.

Skales had gone on microblogging site –Twitter– to ask his followers which artiste they would want on his “Man Of The Year” debut album, and he got a host of responses. But one follower particularly wanted Wizkid on the Project to which Skales replied saying;

“@Wizkidayo doesn’t have my time.”

Wizkid initially took things lightly as he went “dude!! Lol my home is ur home anytime g! U know I’m here whenever u’re ready! Blood still!”

Skales, obviously not buying any of that went;

“no bad blood bro we family but show support to ur own for real it’s not by tweeting or bare words….”

In the ensuing back and forth, Skales went on to claim Wiz had “stolen his beat” and made “Azonto” off it, a claim Legendurybeatz negated with the tweet “The Azonto beat was fully paid for by @Wizkidayo I don’t know what @Youngskales is talking about..I created that beat!!!!”

Skales also claims to have written “Superstar”, a Wizkid hit song, even though there’s nothing to substantiate this statement. Plus the fact that there are doubts on this seeing as Skales couldn’t replicate that same level of genius in his personal career in the erstwhile label (when he could that much for Wiz).

This whole outburst obviously triggered Wiz who then went on to state that he deserves more from Skales given how much he has supported the latter’s career.

“I know you are looking for publicity for your new album so I won’t say nothing anymore… I went on tour even with u even when nobody called u for the show! Nd split my money with the whole team! Wow! Life is crazy my people! Ur enemies are closer than you think! Since u start ur career u never fit drop one album u say u write me song!”

Wiz went completely berserk in the spat. He dropped the bomb when he accused Skales of “wearing fake chains nd begging hoes for money!” “I’ll help finish ur dead career!”, he tweeted. He rounded off saying: “Even when the label wanted to drop ur ass cos u didn’t make one naira for 3years! I was there!”

Skales who goes by the handle @youngskales on Twitter also hit a couple of bars with his tweets as he said he stopped needing Wizkid a long time ago, telling the Ojuelegba hit crooner to get with that fact.

I am sure both teams are satisfied following the twitter jabs. What do you think about celebrities and the way they take shots at each other via social media? Mature or nah? Feel free to air your thoughts in the comments section below.
