This isnt the first and will surely not be the last time a Ghanaian musician will be accused of recording a song that is not by his/her own creation.

Various musicians including Nana Boro, Guru, Joey B, among others have faced such allegations and the latest music theft is Asa Khalifa who was formerly known as Old Sodja.

According to hiplife musician Prince D-Face, Asa Khalifa didn’t just steal lyrical contents from his song dubbed So Memu but, Old Sodja here is going around telling people that it is him (Prince) who is the the ‘ lyrical thief’ here.

Old Sodja is a thief, he stole lyrical contents from my song titled So Memu which features Donia and Benji. But you know this, after he has gone biting my lyrics, Old Sodja is now going around telling people i am the one who stole stuffs from his song but ask yourself, how can an underground musician like me steal contents from Asa Khalifa?

I am not bothered he took what rightfully belongs to me to promote his career but at least, he shouldnt go tarnishing my image that i stole those lyrics..

When asked about the song he is accusing Old Sodja of stealing, Prince D-Face answered with the title of the song as It Is Too Late which features Yaa Pono and Kofi Kinaata.

Listen to Prince’s song, So Memu Yie which features Benji and Donia below..
