As preparations were on going for his performance at Vienna City Kumasi last weekend, Bisa Kdei and his Black Legendary Music Group were on YFM 102.5 to officially announce his performance for the night.

In an interview hosted by DJ Slim before the event, Bisa Kdei addressed the comment he made on the just ended VGMA  where he posted on his fan page

Highlife is underrated. #vgma #charterhouse #ghana

According to Bisa Kdei, he and his fans were disappointed to see him loose what was rightfully his but the statement he made wasnt about the award Charter House didnt give him.

Explaining himself, he said – I made this comment on VGMA because, looking at the way High Life music is loosing the attention it used to have those days, I think Charter House should create more awarding categories for the High Life music genre if possible – because it is only the High Life genre that is originally ours and hence, can sell our culture to the foreigners easily than other genres. This to me will motivate and bring in more talents to the High Life world.

High Life musicians are few in the game as compared to the rest because the attention has been taken from us and channeled to those genres, leaving our Ghanaian/African heritage behind. He added

Bisa Kdei before leaving the radio station endorsed YFM saying, they are currently leading Radio Promotions in Ghana.

Bisa Kdei isnt the only musician who has endorsed YFM – the Like To Party hit-maker, Burna Boy few days ago revealed how important it is for event organizers to advertise/promote their events on YFM.

Bisa Kdei will be releasing his upcoming single off his Break Through Album. The song is titled Mansa and will be released under Black Legendary Music Group.

We keep our fingers crossed for this one.
