We have barely thirty (30) days for Ghana’s election to take place—and report says officials who would play critical roles are yet to be trained.

When enquired, Brong Ahafo Regional Director of the Electoral Commission, Mr. George Gyabaah said it is not too late for the training to be conducted, adding: “some of the officials will forget about what they will learn from the training session if we conduct it early.”

He indicated that the Brong Ahafo Regional office of the commission has received some of the logistics for the December 7 general elections.

Mr. George Gyabaah added that they are poised for action.

“We have received ballot boxes, posters; Parliamentary notice of polls and many others….it is left with the register and few security materials. We have finished with Interviews for electoral officials and the training will follow soon,” he told Kwabena Obeng Akrofi on Ark in the morning.
