The organizers of Brong Ahafo Music Awards, J Black Code Events, have revealed that musicians in the region can now file their nominations without any payment.

They disclosed at a press briefing in Sunyani, two weeks ago that, one can access the nomination form online through their official website: for a fee of Ghc 100. But the latest development is that the nomination fee has now been scrapped.

“Concerning the nomination forms, we have actually agreed to make it free for all those interested. The nomination date has been extended to the 30th of April,” The Director of Operations for J Black Code Events, Joshua Akongo Anemi told the News Hunter Magazine in an interview.

He added that all other activities scheduled remain unchanged.

The Brong Ahafo Music Awards seeks to celebrate, honour, recognize and support the talents in the region.
