It seems Choirmaster is not “joking” at all after the split of the Praye group.

Just a year after releasing his Revelations album which featured the popular Ghana’s Most Beautiful song, he is already working on his second album.

In March this year, he released Obsession off his up coming album and he is out with another single, Cat Walk, also off his second album.

For the Saved By Grace artiste, though the songs he has released as a solo artiste may not have gained much popularity like Praye’s Angelina, Shordy and Wonkoa, he is not giving up since he is making steady progress on the music scene.

“I don’t expect people to accept me wholeheartedly as a solo artiste because I know it will take time for that to happen. I am gradually getting the attention and I know my fans and the public will come to accept me as Choirmaster with time,” he told Showbiz on Thursday.

Produced by Mix Masta Garzy, Cat Walk which features Captain Planet of 4×4 fame recounts the many experiences men go through when they meet the woman of their dreams.

Like a “lover man”, Choirmaster talks about how the woman of his dreams has “caught his eye” because of her steps.

He says like a model, the lady’s cat walk steps attract a lot of attention and that is the reason why he loves to show her off.

The mid-tempo song which is in Twi and Pidgin English may not be rich in instrumentation or lyrical content, however, has a catchy chorus which makes it an ideal party song.

Perhaps, critics of Captain Planet’s rap prowess would have to revise their stance since his punchy lines input on Cat Walk is commendable.

“The feedback has been a mixed reaction but it is all good for me since you can’t always be showered with praises. The criticisms also help to make you better as an artiste,” was Choirmaster’s response on the shortcomings of the song.
