Fans of Efya and lovers of her music were ecstatic over the weekend,as she released her latest single, “Until the Dawn”. The songstress, who is affiliated to Wizkid’s Starboy Records, went live on Facebook at noon, on 10-06-17. The interactive, which was to promote the release, has since attracted over two hundred thousand views, as Efya was her usual up-tempo-fun self.

Efya, who is highly excited about the song release, described the track as “a window into her reinvention and a gift to her fans who have relentlessly supported her this far.”

Efya also began a radio tour around her native country of Ghana, after her Facebook Live interaction.

Until The Dawn, which tells a classic love story on a reggae vibe, was produced by British-born Nigerian record producer and recording artist, Maleek Berry.

Maleek Berry has previously produced music for numerous artistes such as Mr. Eazi and Yemi Alade as well as UK-based Fuse ODG. The song quickly climbed in popularity, as it became number trend on Nigerian and Ghanaian twitter, after a few hours of release and attracted millions of twitter impressions, according to Keyhole statics

The “Until the Dawn video” was shot by Ghanaian ace, Prince Dovlo at the Bob Marley Center in Aburi-Ghana; kind courtesy of Rita Marley; wife of Legendary Reggae pioneer. The storytelling video, features actor Mawuli Gavor in what can be described as a video full of natural beauty and style .

The highly anticipated track is available on all music stores including iTunes and you can see the video on YouTube.
