EL, the enterprising young music icon, who has appeared on many musical concerts held in the country and performed with music stars like Sarkodie, J. Martins, 9Ice, Fabulous and Rick Ross and discovered his talent early in life, has been nominated for Channel O Music Video Awards.

EL, a musician, music producer and sound engineer, has been nominated as the Most Gifted New Comer for the 2012 Channel O Music Video Awards scheduled for Saturday, November 17, at Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown, South Africa.

The young hiplife Ghanaian musician earned the nomination with his popular music video, ‘Turn The Lights Down.

EL was competing with five other African artistes. His fans could make him win by texting ‘3C,’ to +27839208406.

Organizers said this year, voting would take place across a wide suite of digital platforms which include Facebook;http://www.facebook.com/channelotv.

Born Elom Adablah, EL has been working hard behind the scenes in Ghana, sharpening his voice and composition skills and working on collaborations.

His performances with some well-known artistes have revived his music dream.

EL, who developed his singing skills with a group called Skillions during his secondary school day at PRESEC, Legon, some years ago, was sure to make a mark on the entertainment scene in Ghana and beyond and looked forward to the years ahead that would see him representing Ghana worldwide with his music.

This young music icon is a multi-talented artiste with a multinational fan base from Ghana and beyond.

A natural performer with good stagecraft, any time he grabbed the microphone on stage, music fans saw him as a musician whose presence would boost the image of Ghanaian music on the international music market.

Ever since he joined the music industry, EL has proved beyond reasonable doubt that he was a force to reckon with.

Knowing very well that it took a mature and enlightened mind for one to become a great star, EL has taken his music profession seriously to meet the challenges ahead of him.

The award-winning artiste has worked with hiplife music giants like Sarkodie, Tinny, VIP and a host of others. A number of artistes have also featured him in most of their songs.

Based on his outstanding achievement, a number of music fans have started rushing to music shops to look for copies of his music to buy.

EL recently released his debut album which had two CDs with 25 hot tracks and two bonus ones at a time his colleague artistes have resorted to releasing single tracks.

What was even more historic was the fact that 95 percent of the tracks on the new album, ‘Something Else,’ were produced by EL himself right in the studios of BBnZ, the company managing his career.
