JOSH BLAKK is one fast rising multi talented artist born (Joshua Owusu Afriyie) on 24th September and known in showbiz circles as JOSH BLAKK.

JOSH BLAKK happens to be a Songwriter/Performer & a Guitarist. He was first introduced to music at a tender age and started with playing the keyboard at age (13) because he always yearn to play for his church, as time went on his love for playing the musical instrument grew stronger that he advance to playing the Guitar & Flute in his high school days.

Right after high school he decided to take the Guitar as his main musical instrument and since then has never looked back.HE COATED! The first tune i played using my Guitar was my very own song titled,”Till the End” and it sounded very refreshing. He laughed!

JOSH BLAKK” told Africanhitz.com he admire many Musicians, because of the message their music send across and some of his favorites Include….. Asa, Kwame Yeboah, Nicole C. Mullen, Eminem to name a few!

JOSH BLAKK’s uniqueness in his music comes as a result of his constant play using his Guitar and singing,He said I never had a teacher however, i had people that helped me.

JOSH BLAKK was featured in many competitions such as “Voice Factory of City Fm, Mentor,Vodafone Icons mixed Edition & Project Fame”, which helped sharpen & build his career in music and personality.

JOSH BLAKK” told Africanhitz.com that he’s been on many stages and his performance is always off the hook,He said music is from the soul, its like an infection because you infect everybody with how you feel during your performance that is why people are able to tell whether It’s a love song,sad song or others, it’s because of what is coming from within through music and its real.

For a fact Africanhitz.com can boldly say “JOSH BLAKK” is one great artist who’s gonna takeover in the Ghanaian music industry and beyond in no time with his astonish writing skills and unique style of playing the guitar and singing with so much passion.However he said his songs are inspired by how he feels,people around him,things he sees & stories he hears.

JOSH BLAKK dropped out of his tertiary education to persue music full-time at his 2nd level in Central University (Ghana) were he was studying economics and has never regretted on his decision.

“JOSH BLAKK” told Africanhitz.com that he sometimes teaches music but never being to music school. HE COATED! I Don’t have any legit backing for my claim, But I lend out a musical helping hand to anyone who deems it wise to ask me. Every musician learns daily Its a non-ending cycle.

JOSH BLAKK currently has a new music video and a song “Bloody Woe” out and said, Music is my Obligation, My Family, My Friend, My Hobby, My School, My Job,etc.. It is a full time thing for me, many have doubts about my decision to leave everything for what I believe fortunately for them i am the one to either suffer or gain from what ever decision i make.

JOSH BLAKK seems to be a deep thinker had a massage for people who worry too much for him and his career said…(I have other things I do, and other grounds to cover of course its not wise to put all my eggs in one basket. So that is why I have more baskets and more eggs, but this very basket only has music in it).
