Aduana Stars moved to the top of the Ghana Premier League on goal difference after a 4-0 hammering of Techiman City at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa on Sunday.

Aduana trailed by three points heading into the clash but capitalised on a slip by Wa All Stars at Liberty Professionals to edge ahead on superior goal-difference.

Yaw Preko also began his stint as Accra Hearts of Oak stand-in coach on a high with a 1-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs while Medeama SC held Kumasi Asante Kotoko to a 1-1 draw.

Liberty Professionals moved further away from the relegation zone after edging Wa All Stars 1-0.

Accra Hearts of Oak needed a late goal from substitute Foovi Aguidi to grab all three points and move to within three points of the leaders.

Medeama SC 1-1 Kumasi Asante Kotoko – Tarkwa

Medeama’s Bismark Oppong strike cancelled-out Eric Donkor’s free-kick as they held Kotoko to a 1-1 draw.

Aduana Stars 4-0 Techiman City – Dormaa

Aduana Stars went joint-top of the Ghana Premier League table thumping Techiman City 4-0 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday.

Goals from Yahaya Mohammed, Daniel Darkwah, Bright Adjei and Derrick Sassraku handed Aduana Stars victory.
