Ayew is in with a chance to win the accolade for the second time after grabbing the award in 2011. He, however, needs to garner more votes than his other competitors to clinch the award.
Avram Grant who is preparing himself to hold a press conference a year on since his appointment as Black Stars coach is one of the millions scattered all over the world expected to place their votes before the 6 pm (local time) deadline on Monday.
