Lord Kenya who abandoned hiplife for the work of God said he had a strong relationship with the late musician before his death.
“I have known Daasebre since 1999…we met on business grounds for the first time. Daasebre was very humble; he was someone who pours his heart out in whatever he does. He had passion for his work…one may wonder if he is the person behind his own music due to his personality.
“The communication between us did not cease even after I decided to let go my career as a hiplife musician. The last time we interacted was just last month before his demise. He once told me he will pay me a visit at my church,” Lord Kenya disclosed in an interview with DJ Sly on Ark Fm’s Weekend City Show.
“I was shocked to hear about his death because he did not fall ill for so long.”
He advised Ghanaian celebrities to remember their creator as they will account to him some day.
