In less than 5 months, Ghanaians will again visit the polls to exercise their franchise. This will either retain the present government or overthrow it democratically. Being a critical election as many see it, many voices have come together in campaigning for peace before and after the elections.
One voice which has become very loud in the country is K2 , a Dancehell, Hiplife and Reggae Artist who is showing enormous concern for peaceful election 2012. Just as the day passes, there is constant reminder for all and sundry to share in the trumpeting of peace and K2 has taken that burden to lead the campaign with his song, No Place Like Africa which was recorded by one of the best sound engineers in Ghana, Cash 2 and Ray.
Born Nana Kwasi Korang stated doing music at a very tender age and ever since he has composed a hit song which is titled Juliana and was released on 2004 and received massive radio airplay nationwide.
As a business man he spends most of his time outside Ghana but has been able to feature artistes like Castro, Dcryme, Borasky, Old solja and Sidney.
He calls on all eligible voters and party heads to share in this no-blow-throwing and no-bloodshed election. With his Dancehall style of music, K2 is now scheduled to promote the song which will soon hit the airwaves.
Together as Ghanaians, this election is for the country to prove to the world that indeed, Ghana is a country worth boasting with peace, so K2 needs all the support to help voice out loud the essence of peace.
