Owner of KenCity Media, Kennedy Agyapong, has sacked Daasebre Adjei Dwamena of Ashh Fm for giving what he describes as a ‘stupid’ excuse for his disappearance. The presenter was found after three weeks of fruitless efforts to trace his whereabouts after the December 7 elections.
According to presenter, he went to a hideout to pray for Nana Addo after the December 7 elections. He could not tell anybody about this because he felt he needed some alone time with God.
His disappearance got a lot of people worried as many felt he may have been abducted by opposition.
With the assumption that he may have been kidnapped, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako, affectionately called Chairman Wontumi promised GHS10,000 reward for anyone with information on his whereabouts.
Neither his employers nor family and friends had knowledge of his whereabouts’ and all attempts to reach him on his cell phone were unsuccessful as the phone was reported to have been switched off.
The last time he was seen on WhatsApp was December 7 at 6.13am with the Status post: “I am proud of myself and am very grateful to God for making me who I am”.
His boss, Kennedy Agyapong said on Hello FM this morning that what his presenter did was reckless and stupid and as such, he has fired him.
