In a country where the law of attraction on commodities never work, ie, (prices of items keep going up without coming down), regardless of the change in world market, legendary comedian, Kwaku Misa popularly known as KSM has blasted Ghanaians to be the cause of this unbalanced.

Not long ago, there was a vital fall of the crude oil price in the world and as a result of that, the government of Ghana has reduced about 10% of Ghana’s fuel prices.

The reduction seems very disappointing to a lot of Ghanaians including the National Youth Organizer of opposition party, NPP, who argued that, with the current downward trend of crude oil price on the world market, the NDC government has cheated Ghanaians with its meager 10 percent reduction of the fuel prices considering that Ghanaians were asked to embrace the upward adjustment of the crude oil price when the world market price shot up.

“The automatic adjustment formula is not working because when the crude oil price shot up, Ghanaians were told to embrace the price hike which they did despite their agitations. Now, the crude oil price has reduced drastically in the world market and Ghana is now oil a producer; but fuel price is still expensive and the only thing they could do was to reduce the price by 10% which is only coins…to me, that in itself is a betrayal of the automatic adjustment formula; we should see a drastic reduction in fuel price,” he said.

Well according to KSM, Even if petrol prices are reduced by 50%, transport owners will never bring down the cost of transportation. Thats Ghana: GREEDY BY NATURE.

Handsome actor, John Dumelo who agrees with what legendary comedian is saying also retweeted his tweet and social media users have started debating about it.

Come to think of it, even if the government should reduce it by 50%, do you think transport owners will cut down their current transportation prices?
