The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has issued a load-shedding timetable for industries, which were hitherto exempt from the nationwide load-shedding exercise.

The December 1 to January 1, 2015 timetable is expected to guide major industries in Accra, Tema, Takoradi and Ho.

The industries will go off 48 hours per week with Sundays exempted.

The industrial enclaves in Accra and Tema have been divided into two while those in Ho and Takoradi will go off at the same period, as per the timetable.

While industries in one zone of Accra will go off at the same time with those in Takoradi, industries in Ho will go off at the same time with a zone of Tema.

Meanwhile, the Company says it is sticking with the previous timetable for domestic consumers.
