Terry Boamah aka Dada Hafco / Kenneth Osei Owusu aka One Pesewa (MFRAMA) started their musical journey in 2006-2007 when they released the smash hit ‘Feeli Gadoochi’ which had massive rotation on radio and TV which had a nomination for hiplife song of the year at the 2007 Ghana music awards.
They continued the journey with the release of a second album titled ‘Uneasy’ with double hit tracks like Disco and Uneasy.
Then again they formed partnership with the political music stalwart A plus to release the highly controversial ‘Excuse me’ which became an instant hit.
They immediately followed it up with another super hit titled ‘Ghana Lady’ when they featured on the Appietus Compilation and without a doubt, that was one of the lead songs on the entire compilation.
The entire showbiz world burst into laughter and chaos when a member of the Mframa group – Dada Hafco collaborated with Reggy Zippy under the stewardship of One Pesewa to released Imaginations 1 and 2. In his imaginations, Tinny was his shoe shine boy for the party, KOD and KKD were ushers at his party, Agya Koo his garden boy for the party and so many more.
Mframa showed their lyrical dexterity when they collaborated with APlus to release Konkonsa Radio Part 1 and 2 – a song about society and politics.
Just when nobody expected,Mframa came out with the biggest movie soundtrack in Ghana – Agya Koo Gbengbentus. Their movie soundtrack won the best soundtrack at the Ghana movie awards last december, which Mframa added ‘is a step up for them facing both fronts of the industry.
Again, Mframa are preparing to release thier latest album titled ‘Ebi soo noor’ somewhere in september 2012. Prior to the new album release, they’ve released ‘Rob Peter To Pay Paul’ a street anthem featuring the group Praye which was the first single release off the upcoming album, a banger and the hustlers anthem for music lovers of today.
Last week mframa again broke another tip of the iceberg by dropping another single titled ‘Come Back’ which also features the afro pop duo Ruff-N-Smooth.
A song for the ladies basically, laced with the best of lyrics to get you on your dancing feet and close to your sweetheart. All these singles forms a build up to the release of the upcoming album.
2012 is definately gonna be one of the finest year for the group as we all await the release of the album ‘Ebi soo noor’
