In 2013, Miss Ghana experienced the wrath of the winners as Miss Giuseppina Nana Akua together with her first and second runner ups dropped off their titles. The issue took media attention which eventually tarnished the brand and till now the organizers are working so hard to see the Miss Ghana brand regain it trust and respect.

The Miss Ghana Pageant was not organized in 2014 yet Ghana had a rep at the Miss World. Self-acclaimed Miss Ghana 2014 was a runner up at the 2012 edition. And for the fact that anyone at all could be picked to represent Ghana without a competition, we weren’t surprised to see the Lady who couldn’t express herself been crowned as Miss Ghana 2015.

From my own perspective, the MC for the night, K.O.D was surprised when she saw the result and as professional as he is, he said: The result is not only based on what you’ve seen tonight… “At the mention of Delali’s name, about 90 percent of the audiences were shocked! Because we were made to believe that the first 10 were selected based on pre-judging which means K.O.D’s statement should not hold. The judges should be blame because most of them were as shock as the audience.

It could have been best to pick her right from the audition to represent Ghana just as the “past queen” than to waste these girls time. Call it the Part One of Kumawood because the other contestants are ready to reveal all the hidden in subsequent stories. They say: we knew from the onset that it will be rigged but hearing her talk we noticed she wasn’t good to be rigged for so we gave the organizers the benefit of the doubt.

Fortunately for us, we munched a chat between one of the contestants and her alleged boyfriend on November 6th telling the guy about a revealed kululu which eventually turned out to be true.
