After a successful 10-year celebration of his musical career, Samini has shifted gears and soaring to a higher level with work on a new album he disclosed in a press release.

Currently recording his 6th studio album titled, ‘Breaking News’; the ‘ZongoZerr’ singer has indicated that the upcoming album features a continental artistes and cross-over studio jobs including,  Ice Prince, Phyno, Tiwaa Savage and among other ‘heavyweight’ musicians in Africa and beyond.

The producers working on this album are Brainy Beatz, JMJ Baby, JR and a lot more.

Samini has won several notable awards as MOBO, MAMAs , IRAWMA, Channel O, and EME nominee among others and doubles as the first ever Ghanaian Dancehall & Reggae act to have won such awards years ago, and still very relevant in the industry with many successes.

The ace Dancehall/Reggae act is currently in the USA working with other international engineers whom he has indicated would be mastering and mixing the songs on his pending album.

He said, “After my 5th album, ‘NextPage’; I have decided to re-introduce myself to the world yet again after my 10 years milestone which I need to prove the different side of me to the world and that’s my reason for  settling on ‘BreakingNews’ as the title of the 6th album.

“The album which comes with a completely new direction with rather a stronger management team based in Accra and the other office in the USA is a huge initiative, the reason I’m putting all the necessary resources to get this album ready by April 2015″, Samini explained.

Meanwhile, Samini is due to releasing one of the songs off his upcoming album, ‘Breaking News’ titled, ‘Hotter Fyah’.

‘Hotter Fyah’ is recorded on the ‘Highlife Riddim’; produced and mixed in Jamaica.
