It appears that the widespread reports in some Ghanaian media that rapper Sarkodie would be performing alongside Rick Ross in Nigeria is false. The source of the initial publication revealed that an event flyer on facebook had Sarkodie on it although the said flyer  indeed has no such indications.

The only Ghanaian on the St. Eve Magazine and Trace TV powered show dubbed Summer-Jam fest is Fuse ODG of the ‘Azonto’ hit song fame. Therefore, Nigerian fans of Sarkodie should not be disappointed if he doesn’t turn up. The headline act will be Maybach Music Group’s boss Rick Ross and he is supported by a couple of Africa’s finest artists including Flavour, Eva, Terry G, Vector, Dammy Krane, Flowssickk, Burna Boy, and Liquideep from South Africa.
The annual concert is one that aims to promote health in Nigeria, and is scheduled to take place at the Expo Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday the17th of August 2012.
