Rapper Kwaw Kese has failed to secure bail at the Kumasi High Court on medical grounds.

Kwaw Kese was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after he was rushed there Thursday night over ill health.

Lawyers of the embattled musician Friday filed a motion for bail at the High Court after the Circuit Court refused their initial bail plea.

But their case was thrown out by Justice Edward Apenkwa after lawyer for the boss of ‘Mad Time’ Entertainment failed to produce a medical report to support the claims that his client is ill and must be granted bail.

Kwaw Kese is on remand for smoking weed in public.

His case at the Circuit Court has been adjourned to December 22.

The “Man insane” is likely to serve a maximum of 11 years in jail should he be found guilty.
