BET award winning Dancehall artistes – Stonebwoy is back to his homeland after he took an official short trip to the Gambia.

He is currently preparing for his July 1st “Stonebwoy and Friends” Beach bash at Muuston Beach.

The “People Dey and “Mightylele” hit maker, had a double invitation to Gambia.

First was an invitation to be part of the Banjul +10 youth charter which was put together by the African union and second was to be part of the unveiling of the Afrima 2016 calender.

It did not just end there for the 2014 VGMA artiste of the year. At the conference, he was selected as participant/discussant on a theme:Harnessing the economic power of culture and music in Africa. Stonebwoy wowed the guests and got the auditorium sounding with applause.

He and his team were given royal treatment as the Prince, His Excellency Prince Ebrahim hosted them for the rest of their stay. He went on to make the “Run go” hit maker, special guest at the Launch of the Africa Peace Festival.

The Afro Dancehall star was also booked to perform alongside Alkaline and other top African Dancehall acts at the Bakau sports stadium last saturday also in the Gambia.

As usual, he put up a shutdown performance and dazzled his fans. He left patrons chanting and asking for more. The team was amazed at the warm reception given them by the people of Gambia. Stonebwoy threw some good shine on Ghana on that Stage.

Later this year in November, he will be going back to Gambia for the Africa Peace festival proper.

It is obvious that the people of Gambia have accepted Stonebwoy as one of the favorite and biggest Dancehall act in Africa.
