For the people who know me, they will tell you I do not mince words when it comes to the Entertainment Industry and Entertainers in general.

People usually ask what gives me the right to go on radio and spew a lot of the nonsense I say and its simple, first and foremost I AM A CONSUMER so as consumers, WE are entitled to whatever opinion we want to give. (Opinions are like a#*holes, everyone has one)

In my opinion, Mr Joey B aka Mr Tonga got it spot on with this video, why?

Well first of all, the question you must ask is, Will this video increase or decrease his Brand? That is if he has one at all.

Joey, we have watched better videos, the entertainment industry in certain countries are booming up so see yourself competing with those people. You cant bring us this home-sitting video and label it a music video? Well i forgot, you can do this in Ghana.

Now for the video itself, first thing you must do is try to listen to the song ‘TONGA”

The song is really about Joey B, who wants to do or say anything to this lady just to win her on his bed.

I would understand why Joey B would want to give this low concept because 90% musicians in Ghana find it difficult to invest in the music as their career. All they care about is the fame and one or two cars.

However apart from the very apparent wardrobe glitches and unusual moves in the video (at a point he looked like he was about to have a seizure), I totally give it up to Joey for pulling off this video.

I think with a little bit more of an artistic slant and several twerks, this would have been a great view.

We have been expecting the video for almost a year now and with what he brought to us, it would have been better if he hadnt shoot at all.

Joey next time, have a photographer take a few shots of some of the moves you wanted to portray and decide if the finished product is what you saw in your head.

Hopefully the next video wont be as badly planned??

P.S. I am big fan of Joey the brand (maybe not his music or maybe his music) so this opinion is as objective as can be.
