I have always been telling those around me not to take rappers like Lil Wayne, Jay Z, B.O.B and the rest serious because, most of them say what they are rapping about to sell their songs, brands, name and also, win the attention someone like you will give them – and now Kanye West is tired of the Illuminati labeling and theories.

In Ghana, our very own Sarkodie has been labeled to be part of this demonic cult and he is doing well with the tag by flaunting Illuminati signs in his music videos – that has increased the attention his videos like Illuminati, Revenge Of The Spartans among others are getting.

This tells how labeling yourself as part of Illuminati can even sell you or your products before you associate yourself with it. Maybe, in the next few months, I will try this Illuminati labeling as well.

The husband of Kim Kardashian has been frequently suggested to be part of the demonic organization, along with other musicians including Rihanna, Beyonce, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, etc.

Kanye seems to have enjoyed the attention for long and is no more interested in the title.

He wrote in an article for Paper magazine:

“If there was actually an Illuminati, it would be more like the energy companies. Not celebrities that gave their life to music and who are pinpointed as decoys for people who really run the world.

“I’m tired of people pinpointing musicians as the Illuminati. That’s ridiculous. We don’t run anything; we’re celebrities. We’re the face of brands. We have to compromise what we say in lyrics so we don’t lose money on a contract.

“Madonna is in her 50s and gave everything she had to go up on an award show and get choked by her cape. She’s judged for who she adopts. F**k all of this sensationalism. We gave you our lives. We gave you our hearts. We gave you our opinions!”
