Wiyaala has dropped the video for her song Angel which she says she wrote for a very special person who was there to support her when others refused.
The Upper West singer, who in December, won the “The Most Promising African Artiste” and “Revelation of The African Continent” categories at The All Africa Music Awards, said “I wrote the song for someone who had faith in me when others did not. There is a lot of emotion in the video. It was very demanding of my acting skills as I had to cry real tears during the shooting.”
Angel is from the album “Wiyaala” on the Djimba World label was produced and recorded at Sunset Studios in South Africa by Jurgen Von Wechmar. Buy on iTunes, Amazon and all digital stores worldwide. Physical copies can be purchased at Alliance Francaise, Accra.

Who do you think is Wiyaala’s very special person?
Just when I thought that
The light had gone out
And all hope was gone
From nowhere you came
Unexpectedly to light
Up the fire in me….

And just when everyone
Who said they cared
Had lost faith in my dreams
You made them realize that
I’m more than they thought
I could be…..

Just like a diamond, like a diamond
Washed up and made to shine

You are my angel Chorus x 2
You are my angel
You are my hero
Sent from above, by God

Even when the road got rough
You still stood by me
Saying we are gonna make it
We will get there
Above all this, you loved me
You’ve been, the mother, the father
The sister, brother, I never had
My inspiration……

You are my angel Chorus x 2
You are my angel
You are my hero
Sent from above,

So I sing a song for you
Straight from the heart
To let the world know about you
And if this is a dream
I don’t want to open my eyes!

You are my angel Chorus x 2
You are my angel
You are my hero
Sent from above,
